This message is being sent to MAAC members in Zone C BC Interior & Yukon, who have chosen to receive emails from MAAC.

On Friday, March 17, 2023, the MAAC Zone Director, Deputy Zone Director and Assistant Zone Directors for Zone C, BC Interior & Yukon, submitted written resignations, which were accepted.

When the Zone Director and the Deputy Zone Director positions are vacated, the President has the authority to appoint a replacement Director. (Ref Policy 9.5)

I’m pleased to announce that Mark Betuzzi has accepted an appointment to the Director role for Zone C BC Interior & Yukon. Mark joined MAAC in 1984, is a Leader member, chairs the Radio Spectrum Committee and is an instructor with the Kamloops Model Airplane Society.

Mark will fill out his Zone team as he settles in and learns the ropes. Please join me in thanking Mark for taking on this important role at a turbulent and changing time in MAAC’s history. You can contact him by email at zd-c@maac.ca.
